TAMPON TRACK REMINDERS

By current recommendations of tampon producers’, tampon should be ideally in use for 4 hours. Study from France, published on 10.03.2020 (team lead prof. Lina Gerard), suggests that the risk of toxic shock syndrome was associated with using tampons for more than 6 h and overnight tampon use during sleep.
Always use TAMPON TRACK to remove/change tampon on time, to avoid situation of inserting a new tampon before removing the previous one (use Tampon track box and APP so you’ll have automated reminders and alarms), forgetting the tampon is inserted when the end of a period is reached or having sexual intercourse while a tampon is still in.

Study from France, published on 10.03.2020 (team lead prof. Lina Gerard) suggests that the risk of toxic shock syndrome was associated with using tampons for more than 6 h, overnight tampon use during sleep and failure to read or not following tampon insertion instructions in case of reading.

In the study in France they observed higher levels of S. aureus growth and toxin production in menstrual cups than in tampons, potentially due to the additional air introduced into the bag by cups, with differences based on cup composition and size.
E) REMINDER TO VISIT A GYNECOLOGIST!
A visit to the gynecologist is recommended for annual screening. You also need to go if you need to learn how to get a birth control, to discuss menstrual problems (especially if you notice your menstrual cycle becomes irregular or some months pass without having the period, since you don’t want this to lead to serious reproductive issues in the future), for check for sexually transmitted diseases and for all sexually related issues, especially when you notice that sex is very painful, you miss your period after sex, or you discover strange symptoms on your genitals, for all issues regarding pregnancy, fertility, menopause and to get a PAP smear/Pelvic exam (especially necessary when you have menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, delayed childbearing, strange vaginal discharge; taking a pap smear can help you reduce the risk of cancer and many other health problems), to get breast exams (particularly important when you’re over 40 and when you have breast cancer cases in your family).
F) REMINDER TO TAKE A CONTRACEPTION PILL!
Missing pills completely is the biggest reason birth control pills fail.
If you’re taking progestin-only pills you must take a pill at the same time each day within a 3-hour window. If you take the pill after 3 hours window, you should use a backup method like a condom until you’ve been back on track for 48 hours.
If you’re taking a combination pill — which contains the hormones estrogen and progestin — you’re protected against pregnancy as long as you take your pill each day. It doesn’t matter what time you take it.
G) REMINDER TO TAKE A RELIEF PILL!
Start taking the pain reliever at the beginning of your period, or as soon as you feel symptoms, and continue taking the medicine for two to three days, or until your symptoms are gone. Check pill instructions! Some pills can be taken double dose at start.
You mustn’t take the next pill earlier as subscribed and not a bigger dose than subscribed.
Physical activity help ease menstrual cramps for some women. Using a heating pad, soaking in a hot bath, hot water bottle or tea or heat patch on your lower abdomen might ease menstrual cramps.
